  1. What clock? What water level? What screen? $80 and I cannot even see the clock with every light in the kitchen on. There is no screen on the left side of the panel as the picture on the ad seems to show. There is no visible water gauge to tell that the water lever is unless you open the top and peer down inside with a flashlight and magnifying glass. I can’t believe I just spent $80 on this contraption. I cannot even set the brewing strength. Why make a giant panel, pretend to have a screen and then put a tiny, tiny, unlit clock in…

Adequate but very basic I just picked up a new Krups coffee maker and have been enjoying that, but I liked the looks of this Braun, and I’ve always liked their products, so I thought I’d give it a try.Very nicely made, solid, and includes the permanent filter as well as a charcoal water filter that is the standard now as well, so it at least hits the basics. Easy to Use, Intuitive Controls, Great Tasting Coffee I have to admit I didn’t want to like this Braun BrewSense Drip Glass Coffeemaker because I’m a vintage romantic of American-made percolators from the 60s and 70s, which I own: GE Immersible, Universal, Farberware, to name a few.
