Keeps on breaking Way overpriced and too delicate. Why Braun or anyone for that matter, produces a metal Carafe is a bother. Today’s granite tops in kitchens aren’t as forgiving as the old formica and a slight tap and this overpriced carafe is shattered again.
Easy to break and yet expensive My son dropped the original carafe. I didn’t trust buying a generic replacement because I was worried about fit, so I opted for the name-brand replacement. It does as intended–holds the coffee I make. I just wish they were a bit cheaper.
Just as Ordered This was the exact replacement I needed, having broken the original one that came with the coffee maker. Correct one shipped and it is in use.,
