It’s a very nice looking carafe Decorative panels and cap seem to be plastic, but it seems to do the job it was intended to do. I left a little coffee in it overnight (1/4 cup+-), while it wasn’t hot, it was still warm, which is much more than I expected. It’s a very nice looking carafe, i little larger than I had imagined, and came very well packaged.

Love it! Great tea pot!! Keeps my tea warm for 5 -8 hours. It’s farily large and when full I can have 3-6 standard mugs full. Love the design it’s so elegant and I keep it at work and received many compliments. The body has the metal gold finish and metal/ plastic insulation but the knob on top and Handel are plastic. The plastic is sturdy and I think if it was all metal it would be pretty heavy especially with tea inside. Great purchase and got for hot drink lovers
