Great coffee from a simple, elegant machine I’ve owned this for 3 weeks and am very happy so far. The coffee brews true and tastes much better than an old Cuisinart Grind N’ Brew I’ve had for years. It seems that they’ve fixed 2 of the complaints people had with the 1900 model. This carafe is 1.3 liter whereas the old carafe was 1.7 liter. The smaller carafe retains heat better. Happy with my choice for a number of reasons Just got it. nice looking and appears to be well made. It covers most of my requirements. It meets the coffee association requirements for temp. and time to put all the water thru the grounds. It has a big shower head for uniform wetting of the grounds. It is one of the faster brewers, it has select able pre infusion. I like the idea that the carafe pours without removing the top. It will pour all but a few drops with the top on. Fits the bill Nice machine. I roast my own coffee, and would consider myself a dedicated coffee expert. I have not used a machine in over 10 years, preferring my own pourover, vac pot, moka pot or espresso. My wife started drinking coffee, and I thought we could benefit from a larger brewing amount, and an easy machine that keeps quality SCAA standards. This fits the bill.
