Fine coffee but design makes it terrible! I don’t usually leave reviews, but wanted to now because I bought this after reading a lot of positive reviews online (Wirecutter, CNET, etc), and I was really disappointed overall. The reviews said that this machine makes good coffee, which is true, but the design of it is so messy and frustrating it makes you not want to.The filter cup rests on top of the carafe, it doesn’t hang from the top of the machine like you would expect. I don’t know about Wirecutter and some other reviews, but I thought this machine was way better. The OXO is big, clunky, ugly, harder to use and makes bitter, over extracted coffee. I think the showerhead with the flat vs cone basket makes a huge difference. For those who complain you have to set the pre-infusion, once you set it, the machine saves it, so you don’t have to do it every time. I haven’t quite fine tuned the amounts to use yet, and…
