You turn it on and it makes coffee. Yay! This pot does the job very nicely. The reservoir has no narrow, restricted areas that prove to be nearly impossible to clean. The basket uses the most commonly available filters and it has a handy “pause” valve so you can steal a quick cuppa before the whole pot is brewed. It’s also pretty fast. I would not recommend it. It is made poorly and very cheap … I have tried many coffee makers and got this one in hopes to use in a travel trailer or guest cabin. I had one years ago and it never had any issues, but we upgraded. I would not recommend it. It is made poorly and very cheap feeling.
