So……Where’s the backlight?!!! I’m giving this only one star. Not that it doesn’t make coffee, it makes coffee. BUT I chose this one over others because of the backlight on the LCD screen. Look at the pretty photo. See the nice blue backlight with the time so well illuminated you could read it from your neighbor’s house! It’s bull. Doesn’t work correctly As soon as I got it I wanted to run water through it after I changed the clock to try out the programmable part. After plugging it in I was pressing the Hour and Minute button to set the clock and noticed steam coming out. I quickly filled the pot with some water and dumped it in the back and it was auto brewing coffee. It works, but please keep shopping This is your standard coffee pot. The buttons on the front are cute, but Iâm not sure they really do anything. The coffee pot doesnât keep the hot plate on after brewing. Thereâs supposed to be a 2 hr shut off time for that…. it doesnât work. Also, the numbers to fill water by on the carafe do NOT match the fill lines on the brewer. So if you make a full pot, it will spill over.
