Way better than the cup toppers This was my second pourover device. My first was one of the little ceramic cup-toppers. I love this thing so much, really. I had trouble my first few times until I realized you’re supposed to poke a little hole in the middle before pouring. Weak, medium, or jet-fuel strong, I’ve been able to make any strength with just about any grind. I do recommend using a fine grind. You’ll get a little silt in the bottom but the water just glides through. You can always use a paper filters with it if that…
I’m really pleased with it The fit and finish is high quality, I’m really pleased with it. This is more of a specialty item for me, when you want to make drinking coffee an experience. I had to adjust my grounds to be finer before I got a good cup of coffee. It’s a little time consuming for the individual who has to rush out the door during the weekdays, but a nice way to wake up on your days off.
