  1. Good, But Not the Best Way to Make a Cup of Coffee This AmazonBasics Single Serve K-Cup Coffee Maker has all the pluses and minuses of any K-Cup coffee maker. This one is small. It takes up only a 9.4 x 7.1-inch space on the kitchen counter. It is a personal coffee maker; in that it will make only a couple cups of brew before requiring additional water added to the water reservoir. You can make either 8- or 10-oz. cups of coffee, not the 12-oz. cup that is normally considered a “regular” cup of coffee in most coffee shops. It is…

  2. Noisy. Slow. Easy to use. Limited features. After recently having a poor experience with a much slimmer single cup coffee maker, I decided to give AmazonBasics a try. (See photo showing the two units, side-by-side.)The unit comes packaged in a nondescript brown box with an Amazon label on it.   3. Very slow, and only has enough water for two cups. Brews great coffee. This machine brews a great cup of coffee. It is relatively quiet and very compact. The downside of that is that it is VERY slow and only has enough water to make two cups of coffee. I timed the first cup, and it is 4 minutes and 15 seconds from the time you push the power button to the time you get a cup of coffee.
