  1. Not exactly what I expected, but nice. Let me start by saying that this is a very well-built unit and function well, if you can live with the way it functions. I bought this to replace a smaller Aims unit that was in my Motorhome. I compared the manual from my smaller unit and it was worded just like the manual for this unit even though the operation is very different.   2. Check wire gauge requirements before ordering the larger unit. I used this in my boat. Automatically tranfers to shore power when available. My battery bank is small so far, so it has probably double to triple the charge capability than I currently need, but hope to expand into. The biggest down side to this unit is the instructions call for #0/4 wiring which is huge and expensive. Because of that I would have chosen the smaller unit that uses #0/2 instead. Upgraded my alternator to 130 amp high output and this easily runs refrigeration, coffee maker…
