  1. 8-cup size is the perfect compromise for two adults, both for coffee amount and footprint! The ONLY problem experienced is getting a drip-free first cup–pour SLOWLY and over the sink. Other than that, we LOVE this coffee maker. I am replacing my Keurig unit because of the POD price. The Mixpresso unit is no less convenient and the 8 cup size is perfect for my wife and I. We love the compact size and the looks of it.

  2. Luke warm coffee Luke warm coffee you can’t use disposable filters! I was looking for small footprint coffee maker and this one is. But it such mess every time you use it. No matter how fast slow or angle you pour it spills all over the counter! It is already luke warm just add milk or creamer “cold” Can’t use coffee filters only the reusable washable basket so empty it in the garbage can but you have to wash it in the sink with grounds going down the sink.   3. If you want quickly dripped coffee this might be for you otherwise move onto another brand I bought this because I wanted a simple 6-8 cup maker. I was immediately underwhelmed by my purchase:Confusing instructions for programming. Cheap plastic. Cheap (thin) glass. Cheap plastic filter, which MUST be used–a paper filter will not work alone. Hot water pours too quickly over coffee–it is not a slow steady drip.
